Pizzazz Meeting & Event Planning Group President Receives Top Award from Tampa Bay Area MPI

June 3, 2009------Margaret H. Williams, CMP was awarded the Meeting Professional of the Year award from the Tampa Bay Area Chapter of MPI (Meeting Professionals International) as the chapter celebrated its 25th Anniversary. Ms Williams is the president of Pizzazz MEPG, a full service meetings and events planning company with offices in New York City and Tampa, FL. “It was a spectacular evening of surprises and a great honor to receive this award,” says Ms. Williams. An active member of MPI since 1990, first in New York City and after relocating to Tampa Bay, she continued to be active in the local Tampa Bay Area chapter. Ms. Williams is a member of the Education Committee, which was also recognized with the Committee of the Year award. “MPI is a fantastic organization where both professional and personal relationships are nurtured.” She says “when striving for excellence and quality we always look to develop strategic partnerships with industry professionals.”

The 25th Anniversary celebration was held at the newly renovated Clearwater Beach Hilton. The Grand Ballroom was transformed into a spectacular banquet space by local MPI Tampa Bay Chapter members. The cocktail reception featured flavored champagnes and delicioust hors d’oeuvres. Guests were seated at beautifully decorated tables of all shapes-- triangles, rectangles and squares, while they dined on sumptuous dinner fare and incredible desserts.
